Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team trains on most Wednesday nights and some weekends. We also hold Exercises with realistic Mountain Rescue scenarios on a regular basis. Our aim is to be able to tackle any task, with a professional manner, that Lothian & Borders Police Force ask us to do.
Training is guided by an individual Log Book which we ask members to fill in, as and when the relevant topic appears on the training program. The topics covered include the core skills required for Mountain Rescue.
