The Team has a long tradition of organising sponsored walks and challenge events to raise funds for the operation of the team.
Historically, the main event has been a long distance sponsored walk in
June. This event has taken place in various formats over the 25 years
since it began as the, now legendary, Tweedsmuir Challenge.
In 2008 we launched the latest incarnation of this old favourite: a new team endurance challenge called ScotPLOD in partnership with the charity, Action Medical Research.
In 2006 we also began a shorter Charity Walk particularly aimed at young people, families and those who might find the June event too daunting.
